I grew up in São José do Rio Preto, Brazil, and moved to Portugal almost ten years ago. Lisbon has been home for most of that time.

I'm a product designer with over five years of experience, currently at Mercedes-Benz.io (opens in a new tab). I've worked on everything from digital healthcare to e-commerce and the tools that keep businesses running behind the scenes. I enjoy the kind of work where there's a lot to untangle and no obvious answer.

I've always been curious about how things work. Lately, that curiosity has taken me beyond design and into code and AI, making it easier to bring my own ideas to life. That's how I ended up building a guitar tuner, an app for my cats, and a growing collection of little experiments.

Process

I'm curious by nature. I like understanding how things work, asking questions, and exploring what might happen if I try something differently. That curiosity shapes how I approach design. What are we solving? For whom? What do we know, and what are we only assuming?

AI has changed how quickly I can go from an idea to something tangible. Instead of just imagining how an interaction might work, I can build it, test it, see what feels wrong, and try again. Sometimes that means prototyping a complex workflow at work. Other times, it means building a guitar tuner because I got tired of reinstalling one.

But as much as I love experimenting, I'm meticulous about the details. I care about pixel-perfect interfaces, consistent components, and well-organized files that other people can actually work with. I enjoy the messy process of figuring things out, but I also love bringing order to it.

Beyond Design

More than a job title

I play guitar, have a growing collection of half-finished recordings, and take my coffee seriously enough to have my own brewing method. I love running, being out in nature, traveling, and spending time with my two cats, and .

Sometimes these interests turn into little projects. Sometimes they’re just things I love doing, and that’s enough.

Also, I’m surprisingly good at untying knots.
